Tom took the recently completed 1970 Eliminator to the 20th Annual Yellow Rose Classic Car show in Ft. Worth, Texas held onAugust 8th & 9th.
One of KTL’s recent restorations (a very rare 1968 XR7-G) was chosen for display at the 2008 All-Ford Nationals in Carlisle, PA. Despite the steamy weather, the show was well attended. Here are a few picture of KTL’s display:
That old gas tank has likely been under the trunk deck a long, long time. There’s no telling how much rust, crud, gummy deposits, and old rags used for gas caps are floating around in there. The last thing you need to do is bolt up a crud supply line to your fresh new crate or race engine combination. Beyond the obvious collected debris in the bottom of that old tank it’s also important to consider the condition of the fuel lines.
