	KTL Restorations is owned and operated by Tom Lawrance. Tom has a lifetime of experience and knowledge working on vintage Ford and Mercury's. His philosophy is to do it right the first time. At KTL, the client dictates the type of restoration preformed. We can accommodate those that desire a "concourse restoration" where the classic vehicle is stripped and rebuilt from the frame-up. We can also add modern engines and suspension components while keeping the classic car's body and interior more-or-less intact.


We use high quality products and go the extra mile to make sure your restoration work is done correctly. We strip every project to the bare metal in order to deal with hiding rust and other issues common in older cars. We cut out any rust and weld new metal where needed. All dings and dents are worked over and hammered out, very little filler used.
It's all about performance We offer a complete in-house engine replacement service. No matter what the problem is, we can fix it. Our goal is to build you the best engine possible at the fairest price. Tom will be glad to talk to anyone that has an engine-related problem or question.

This rare 1969 Cougar Cobra Jet Ram Air Convertible underwent a complete restoration at KTL. In 1969 there were only 129 total CJ Ram Air convertibles built. The car is owned by Lin Thurston of West Coast Classic Cougar. It is a good example of the attention to detail and quality of work preformed by KTL.
